Can understanding the future convergence of heaven and earth lead to a better life now? World religions agree something is coming, and it's not an if but a when. From the onset of recorded history, religions around the world have predicted the cosmos will climax with an ultimate state—a transformation of the material and mundane into the spiritual and sublime. Although much controversy surrounds this topic, the ancient Judeo-Christian texts refer to this cosmic metamorphosis into a "New Heaven" and "New Earth" prolifically and in detail. Peter describes this event at Christ's second coming: "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up" (2 Peter 3:10).

Paul made the intriguing statement: "For the form of this world is passing away" (1 Cor. 7:31). Yet, somehow this transformation from the present form into a new "dimension" is not the end of the world; but instead, will produce a glorious age on earth in which "the wolf and the lamb shall feed together" (Isa. 65:25).

Because of the esoteric nature of complex religious concepts, theologians have sometimes used popular (secular) examples so that the masses might relate to spiritual ideas. This was the case with Philo, who employed familiar Classical Greek philosophical concepts to interpret the Hebrew writings. Likewise, Augustine expounded upon the Bible making reference to Neoplatonist elements. With this precedent, The Singularity Prophecy sheds new light on the coming convergence by describing this transformation process in terms of Astrophysics and Quantum Mechanics.

This book is written so as to engage international readers who possess a diversity of philosophies and religions. The history of world thought on this subject is presented to provide a broader perspective and to grasp the ubiquity of this supernatural phenomenon in the human mind, which has fueled the present-day exuberance for eschatology and apocalypticism.

Excerpt:
Jesus told His disciples to rejoice that their names were written in heaven. This up-to-date record in the spiritual realm accounting for souls on earth can nicely be compared to quantum entanglement. Moreover, the connection that bridges the material/spiritual divide is a solid, though unseen, life connection. Jesus used the analogy that He is the vine, and we are the branches. This metaphor stands for more than just reflecting the glory of God, which implies distance between the source and its object. Also, the Bible describes the Holy Spirit as embodying the full power of God; and yet, being able to operate seamlessly and transparently between the dimensions of heaven and earth.
Jesus left us with the words: “I am with you always until the end of the Age.”
Once Jesus has descended, the catalyst for the coming convergence, He will take up “observable” residence on Mount Zion. In that day, our “faith will be sight” and the name of Jerusalem will be called, “The Lord is There.”
